Information
In order to ensure the quality of glass-enameling equipment, the DC20kv spark
test was carried out in the factory, because it is a destructive test, and special care
should be taken in operation. In customer review, the AC50Hz 5kV spark test
should be used. DC spark tester is not recommended because the net charge will
accumulate in the enamel layer.
The relationship between the thickness, temperature and breakdown voltage of
the enamel layer is shown in the right figure.
