(Example 1) Minimum permissible temperature (TP<TW) for injection of cold liquid into a hot container
(TW=180℃)
Step:
1. Find out the wall temperature Tw = 180°℃ on the abscissa of Figure A.
2. Draw a perpendicular line along the dot at 180C and intersect it at the edge of the blue area.
3. Make a horizontal line parallel to the abscissa and intersect the Tp points on the longitudinal coordinates.
Tpmin =70°℃
(Example 2) Maximum allowable humidity (TP> TW) in case of hot liquid being injected into a cold container
(Tw=20℃)
Step:
1. Find out the wall temperature Tw = 20C on the abscissa axis of Figure A.
2. Draw a vertical line along the dot at 20℃ and intersect it at the edge of the red area.
3. Make a horizontal line parallel to the abscissa at the intersection point, as opposed to the Tp point on the
longitudinal coordinate. Tpmax = 155°℃
